Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween from work! A few of us went as the 3 blind mice.  We tried to do it pretty cheap and obviously weren't thinking because the sunglasses we bought were toddler sized!!  But the patients love it :)

Pumpkinfest!

This past weekend, Curt had to work on Saturday so I headed to Pumpkinfest in Downtown Franklin with one of my nursing friends, Becky.  We use to work nights together but then I switched to days so we haven't had as much time to hang out--this was perfect!  I had no idea what to expect but it was so fun! They still had all the little shops open that we went and looked it but they also had a ton of street vendors, delicious food, live bands, costumes, and more! It was awesome!  While we were there, another friend from work, Mary Hunter, was there so we met up with her and her friend too!  What a fun Saturday!  I got home about 5:30 and got some "football food" ready for when Curt got home so we could watch Mizzou play. Now that I don't even want to talk about--what a meltdown!! AHHH!  But I did love Pumpkinfest :)

Mary Hunter's friend Megan, Becky, myself, and Mary Hunter

I wish I had a better pic but it was so crowded and stuff was everywhere!

Us with a character from Frankenstein?? I think!

And of course a delicious fried donut to end the day :)

Another Cape Weekend Visit...well more like a week visit!

This past week, my mom, grandma, and grandpa came to visit for a day and then I rode back with them to Cape and spent the rest of the week/weekend in Cape.  Curt drove over Friday after he finished his rotation!  We shopped, did some Christmas shopping, hung out, looked at houses, had a bonfire, went to Grandma's, watched football, went out to eat...the list goes on and on!! It was such a fun week!

We drove back to Cape Wednesday night and mom, dad, and I caught up on a bunch of shows (Survivor is sooo good this season!) and just relaxed.  Thursday I  got up and headed to Whit's house to spend the day with her because mom and dad were working. I got the privilege to take Brynn to preschool and pick her up!! It was so fun!  Whit and I (and Emory) then got Starbucks and just relaxed.  Dad came and met us for just a bit :)  Then we headed back to Whit's house so she could feed Emory.  We did some more errands that afternoon and then headed back to my parents house.  Dad made chicken and wild rice soup, one of my new favorites! So yummy! And so Fall-ish!!

Friday morning we drove to Grandma's house to have lunch.  And let me tell you this lunch was like Christmas!! Grandma had it all!!!!!!  Including my favorite--okra! Yahoo!  We hung out for a bit and Grandma fixed a dress my mom had just bought when we went shopping. That night we had a bonfire! Surprisingly it was legit, ha!  We roasted hot dogs, ate chili, made smores, and drank hot apple cider!! Brynn was loving the roasting part!!  That night we also did a little Ben Affleck-Gone Girl movie stalking.  They are filming this movie in Cape; it was so neat to go and watch a bit!!

Saturday we woke up and had family pictures taken.  I think mom got a little stressed but our outfits looked so good!! Hopefully the pictures turn out ok! :)  After pictures we went to Whit's house to watch Mizzou play Florida and UT play South Carolina.  Curt was so stressed and I literally prayed that UT would win because I could not take Curt being in another sad mood; the week before was horrible, ha!  Thankfully--they both WON!!! Yahoo!!! It was a great day for the Jenkins/Bandermann's! (Mizzou is now #5 in the BCS..what????!!) That night the four of us plus the kiddos headed to Pagliai's for dinner and then went and ate some frozen yogurt (my parents were at a wedding in STL). After frozen yogurt Brynn took a bath and then I gave her her first haircut.  Yes you read that correctly! Whit and Ryan actually let me do it!! It was just a little trim but it looked better and was so fun! Probably one of the highlights of the weekend.  Unfortunately I don't have any pictures :(. After the hair cut I got to put her to bed!!! So fun!!!! We read and sang songs; such special memories!

Sunday was baby dedication Sunday so we got to watch little Emory be dedicated! So sweet! We watched some football, relaxed, and headed back to Nashville.  It was such a fun, busy, crazy, great family visit! Hopefully we will be back soon! Love them all so much!

Taking Brynn to preschool--it was picture day :)

Enjoying our Starbucks

Playing dress up at mom's before dinner.  I tried out Whit's Mobi?? wrap.  Interesting contraption:)

Brynn loves playing dress up with our old dance costumes; it is hilarious!

Brynn wants everybody to dress up...

At Grandma's on Friday--of course we had to take a ride in the golf cart.  Brynn is an OK driver.

Bonfire!

Snuggling to stay warm!

Brynn roasted this hot dog for Curt when we were waiting for him to arrive, hahahahahh

Awwww ;)

Emory had to stay inside but I don't think she minded

And then we stalked!

The car they were filming had like 20 cameras attached to it!

You can't really tell from the pic but the director was about 15 feet in front of us!

Planning our outfits!

Family picture time! Can't wait to see how the actual pictures turned out!

Emory and I matching in our navy and white

Brynn painted my toes while we watched football--I'd give her job about a B-, ha!

She took a costume home, ha

UT about to attempt a game winning field goal--he couldn't watch...

They won!!!!! Kind of a gross face but he was so proud of them :)

Another Date Night! I promise we have friends!

Friday night Curt and I had another date night.  I literally think all of our friends were either out of town or had family in town.  We decided to do dinner and a movie. It was super fun. We had a gift card to Maggiano's (thanks Mom and Dad) so we decided to use it! It was super delicious.  After dinner we had a little time to spare before the movie started and the theater was right next to the mall so Curt and I did a little window shopping, actually Curt bought me a pair of earrings, yay! Then we headed to the movie, apparently we should have skipped the shopping and gone straight to the movie because it was packed and we sat on the second row but it was still great. We saw Gravity; we both really liked it and would recommend the movie! Afterwards we took the long way home and looked at cute houses even though it was completely dark outside :) Great date night!

I don't know if you can tell but I am wearing an owl necklace, thanks to my MIL, Debbie.  It was hers when she was younger and she gave it to me, sooo cute!
This restaurant gives you an entire portion of a different pasta to take home, soooo awesome!

2nd row!

Super fun date night :)

Family Picture in Knoxville

Yes I am just now getting to last weekend!  It has been another busy week!  Last Saturday after we had breakfast with Lily and Chase, we loaded up the car and headed to Knoxville to take the annual family picture.  This year the theme was light pink in honor of baby Amelia being born! Unfortunately I don't have any pictures but I'm sure there will be some soon! After we took our pictures we all just hung out and relaxed and watched the UT game!  The whole family was there and it was so much fun to have everybody hanging out! Sunday we went to church and did some more relaxing, eating good food, and watching football :)  Pretty darn good weekend!

Watching the UT game in the Man's Room! Amanda was wearing a super cute UT colored dress!

Anna (Curt's cousin) and Andrew apparently got a hold of my phone :)
Mollie took a nap during the game

And I got to feed Amelia during the game!
She was really excited about the game...

Curt and Andrew :) so cute!!
Curt then asked Mollie if she wanted to take a picture with him....hahahahha!
Instead she wanted to take a picture with me...I knew I was the favorite, ha!

LILY VISITS!!!!

I have not seen my best friend from college in over a year and two months!!!!  We met in college and lived together all four years.  I was the maid of honor in her wedding and that was last time I have saw her.  Last Friday I got to pick her and her husband, Chase, up from the airport!  Lily and I both got married last summer and I moved to Nashville and she moved to Dallas.  We obviously still keep in contact and talk on the phone a lot but seeing her in person was absolutely awesome!

I picked them up about 1:00 on Friday and we headed to one of my favorite spots for lunch, Baja Burrito.  We ate some delicious lunch and then headed to downtown Franklin to walk around the cute little shops!  Chase was a trooper because they were for sure girly shops.  It was so much fun! I definitely got some good Christmas ideas!  Then we headed home to see Curt and hangout a bit before heading to dinner.  For dinner we went to one of favorite spots--The Pharmacy Burger.  We had about an hour wait.  We relaxed outdoors at one of their tables set up for waiting!  It was awesome!  The food was absolutely delicious!!!!!  It was a super fun night of catching up and enjoying each others company!!  We met up with them for breakfast in the morning before heading to Knoxville to take the annual family picture!

Lily and I are hoping to see each other again in January!  Love and miss Lily so much already and can't wait to see her soon!  Thanks for visiting Lily!

Lily and I in downtown Franklin--soo cute!!
I saw this at a store in Franklin.  This is going to have to be a future DIY project--how cute!!

Lily, Chase, and I--this is how it used to be in college because Curt was in Nashville.  They always let me
 be the third wheel :)

Todd, Curt's friend from school, dropped by to hang out too!
