But Remember When the Clock Strikes Midnight....

Last weekend Curt and I headed home for a visit to Cape. A couple of months ago my mom got tickets for the girls to see Cinderella so this weekend has been planned for a while! We left Friday morning and were able to stay til Monday. It was a packed weekend!!!

We arrived in time for lunch and had a little impromptu modeling shoot to get ready for Cinderella. Yes, Whit and I put on our prom dresses!

Friday night we headed to Whit and Ryan's new house for a little dinner party. Whit had made lasagna and we played catch phrase! Brynn was hilarious making up her own words and trying to get us to guess it. Then Curt and Ryan decided to play some "musical instruments."

Saturday morning Mom, Whit, Brynn, and I headed to STL to shop in the morning followed by lunch at the Cheesecake Factory. We then drove to the Fox to see Cinderella. And I know this is cheesy...but it was magical!!!!! We all loved it!

After the show we did more shopping (put me with my mama and sister and we can do some serious shopping)! Brynn was such a trooper so she got a treat at the disney store. :)

Around 7 they dropped me off at dinner on "the Hill" (a part of STL with tons of Italian restaurants) to meet up with Curt, Todd, and Lisa. Todd and Lisa are some more of our best friends from pharmacy school. They drove from Springfield, MO to visit us! We had a delicious dinner and then hit up the Casino. We won $150. WOOHOO!

Sunday morning we said bye to Todd and Lisa and drove back to Cape. Grandma and Grandpa came over for lunch and then we played cards all afternoon! That night we headed to Whit and Ryan's for a Superbowl Party! It was such a fun day..so fun that I don't have pictures!

Monday morning we got a crazy idea and my mother cut Curt's hair. It was a fun time. We then headed to a bounce house to let the girls play and have a little lunch before we headed back home.

Such a fun weekend!!! God has just truly blessed us with wonderful families and friends!

Go VOLS

A couple of weeks ago I had the opportunity to go to a lady Vols game with one of my favorite coworkers, Connie! She has a friend who has season tickets but was out of town so we got to use them! They are on like the 5th row! AND we sat behind the athletes...Curt was really impressed that we sat right behind Josh Richardson (he is the main player for the boys team!). It was a super fun night!

A day later some of our best friends from Pharmacy school came to visit for the weekend! We got to hang out all weekend long eating good food, shopping, going to another VOLS game, and relaxing. Thanks for visiting Josh and Amanda!!

Josh Richardson!

I'm pretty sure this was taken by an athlete but I don't know who, ha!

We tried to get this on the big screen but I don't think it happened :(

Fun VOLS game!!!

Hello 2015

Curt and I had such a fun New Year's Eve this year. We both worked but were done mid afternoon. We headed to Chris and Nena's house (a couple we met at the Sunday School class we are attending) for dinner and games! Around 11 we headed downtown to watch a ball drop. Knoxville has a ball that actually drops! It wasn't huge, but it was still a ball drop! And there were fireworks! It was a great way to welcome 2015! 2014 was a busy year for us and we look forward to what God has in store for us in 2015!

Here is a quick recap of 2014

1) Curt graduated from Pharmacy School
2) Curt was hired as a pharmacist at Wal-Mart
3) We moved to Knoxville
2) We went to the beach with my family
3) I was hired at an infusion center
4) We bought our first house
5) We went to the mountains with Curt's family
6) I got rear-ended on the interstate and our car was totaled
7) We were forced to get another car...always stressful.
8) We renovated our house for 4 months
9) We finally moved into our house in November, it really was an incredible feeling!
10) We were able to celebrate the holidays with both of our families!!!

Ok I was stretching for that 10th one because we will do that every year but 10 is better than 9 :)

Back to New Year's Eve...

Merry Christmas :)

For us Christmas this year pretty much started the Saturday before and continued til the Saturday after with lots of stuff going on almost everyday! The Saturday before started with Debbie's side and a girls brunch. On Sunday was Mike's side for Christmas. Monday was Curt's immediate family. Tuesday was my last day of work. Wednesday, Christmas Eve, we drove to Cape and went to the Christmas Eve service with my mom's family. Christmas was spent at my Grandma's..all day...and it was great! Friday was my immediate family's Christmas. And Saturday was my dad's side for Christmas. Woah. I am now a little tired just thinking about all of that, haha! But Curt and I loved every second of it!

Here is our Christmas in pictures

Some favorite cousin's on Curt's cousin..Mary Kate and Anna

Anna and I had each others name!

I think Andrew loved his jersey :)

Mollie, Caroline, and me....Mollie loves holding her some Caroline!

Curt was clearly excited about his Christmas gift

Getting really excited to see what it is..we had to go out to the garage!

And there we have it...they even included me :)

Christmas at my Grandma's and Grandpa's

Brynn and her tea set

And then Brynn's favorite thing to do...go to Claire's and pick out one thing...I've never seen her contemplate  a decision so much

We had an intense game of the Farmer's game....yes Curt got upset because he did not win :)

And of course since we were in Cape for some of the Christmas tournament we had to go. Took me back to my high school days, ha!
It was an absolutely wonderful Christmas season! God has truly blessed us with such wonderful families.
